Chain Maille Video

I've been playing with making a video again. I'm disappointed in the quality of the pictures, however. They are good quality pictures but appear fuzzy.

I used Windows Movie Maker. It comes with my Vista system. Has anyone used Windows Movie Maker?

  1. I don't know anything about about making videos but the jewelry is beautiful, I can see that much. And you timed the song so well too!

  2. No, I've never used Windows Movie Maker but you have inspired me to look into it as I too have Vista. Lovely chain maille !

  3. Hi Bev, I am so impressed with your work. I'm just beginning to attempt chainmaille. I used some tiny ones tonight and must admit my fingers are a little sore and my nails look pretty sad! What's your secret to beautiful work that looks like it was effortless? Lisa C.,

  4. Great video and such a great way to show your jewelry. I've never tried Windows Movie Maker. I tried uploading video on blogger before and could never get it to upload. Not sure what the problem was. I'll have to try again.

  5. BetteJo, As for the timing of the music, I just kept adding pictures until the music stopped.

Gayle, the video took a LONG time to load. I almost gave up.

Lisa, you have to make yourself relax while doing chain maille. I have a very comfortable chair I work in and I stop often and remind myself to relax my shoulders and hands.

  6. wow! Great movie! I see what you mean about the sharpness of the pictures, I kept straining my eyes cause the beautiful pieces drew me in and I wanted to see the intricacies. I have the same program but haven't use it yet, hopefully it is a setting somewhere in there, did the movie look different on your PC versus after you "published" it to the web? Keep up the movie magic! =) Jenelle

  7. Jenelle,
The pictures looked fuzzy on my computer as well as on line. I'll have to do some searching to see why.
